Description

This 490 acre park lies 8 miles south of the town of Tehachapi and culminates in the summit of Woody's Peak (7986'). Hiking, camping ($18 a night), horseback riding as well as some limited climbing are all available here.

Getting There

From Hwy 58 in Tehachapi exit onto Tucker Road heading south, turn right onto Highline Road heading west, then make a left onto Water Canyon Road heading south; continue on Water Canyon Road as it turns into County Park Road and leads to the entrance of Tehachapi Mountain Park.
