El Chupacabra Area is a newer area with tons of potential. Not everything is stellar, but there are things that are indeed stellar.

Due to the amphitheater shape of the area, there are places to climb in the shade and in the sun. The area is primarily a mountain biking area and a hard run at that, so there is little traffic. That being said, be sure to stay out of the way of the bikers.

Getting There Suggest change

Reference the map for better clarification.

Start at the Holy Cross trail. Head right where the trail divides. It is the Pre-Nup Trail. Once you get to the cliff line, continue following the trail left, down and around the bend. Once you get to the intersection with Holy Cross, take a right. The main cluster of El Chupacabra Area around the trail.
