The SeKi Rock Climbing website nps.gov/seki/planyourvisit/… has current closures as well as other climbing information for visitors.

Moro Rock (SEKI) and Chimney Rocks usually have nesting closures every year from April 1 to August 15.

As of April 2016, all routes are open to climbing.

Description

The biggest rock face in the Sierra outside of Yosemite.

Getting There

Angel Wings is about 16 miles from the nearest road. Approach from Crescent Meadow near Moro Rock. Attain backcountry permit at lodgepole visitor center. There is a one night limit at Hamilton Lake (the best/closest camping). You can either disregard this rule, like most do, or see the posted map for other options.
