Description Suggest change

Granitic peak on the east side of Aasgard Pass, which is the trail between Colchuck Lake and the Enchantments Core Zone. Ascending steep boulders and small streams for nearly 2,000 feet, Aasgard Pass delivers you right to Washington alpine heaven.

The pass also provides one of the two options to approach Prusik Peak, and is the descent used from Dragontail Peak.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike Colchuck Lake trail (5 miles), then continue right around to far side of lake (1 mile).

After crossing a field of large boulders and a few streams in the trees you are at the start of Aasgard Pass. Hike most of the way up the pass (1600' of vertical over 3/4 mile) and you'll see the Sentinel just to the left of the trail.

OR, Travel up Snowcreek Trail (about 11 miles) and you'll be at the top of Aasgard Pass.
