Description
This group of mountains lies just to the East of Misurina and just south of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo group. The area is full of smaller climbs on south facing pinnacles and is a good place for beginner mountain climbers to gain experience on shorter routes in the Dolomites. It lies only about 20 minutes north east of Cortina and is easily accessed by walking trails behind Lake Misurina.
Getting There
From Cortina drive East- north east out of town, over Passo Tre Croci and down to Misurina (20 minutes northeast of Cortina). Park in Misurina or at the road leading to Tre Cime (depending on the routes you select). Walk the proper path or take the ski lift into the range to access your chosen peak.
