Description Suggest change

The east side of the Big Pine Towers hosts a good selection of tall endurance routes in the 12 range, plus a few shorter enjoyable 11s. Afternoon shade makes this a good place to be during early fall and late spring.

Honker is a Tucson classic and shouldn't be missed.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the first pullout down road from the Windy Point Vista - mile marker 13.7. This pullout is also used for Hunchback Pinnacle, New Wave Wall, and Rupley Towers (among others). Walk down road 200 ft to a drainage spillway and follow a path downhill, angling right past a short tower. Big Pine Towers - West Face is visible after rounding this short tower. Continue down the scree slope until you're at the base of the east face.
