Maryland > Great Falls - Marylan…

Description

Approximately 1 mile from either the visitors center or the Old Anglers Inn parking area and directly across from the Degree 101 buttress is a small smooth vertical wall with its left hand side hidden by a low angle buttress. The best approach for getting to this area is to follow the tow path to the trail head, 100 yards downstream from the lock at the upper end of Widewater. Take this trail west to the river. The descent for these climbs is by 4th class gully at the upstream end of the face.
