Description
Along the powerline trail in Anchorage is a easily accessible and large boulder field. The rock here is of moderate quality. Most blocks are very solid, but still be on the look out for loose holds. Boulders liter the valley from "the Wedge" back to the pass.
Getting There
From Glen Alps parking lot follow the power line trail towards power line pass. There are trail side boulders which begin just after the turn off towards hidden lake. From there to the pass you will see small, medium, and large boulders littering the valley. Hiking out take about an hour, however using a bike will make the approach much quicker.
