Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek
Details
WET ROCK: Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN MOAB during or after rain.
RAPTOR CLOSURES: please be aware of seasonal raptor closures. They occur annually in the spring.

Description
This expansive wall on the east side of the canyon runs from the shallow side canyon (south) which forms the northern border of the Entrance Wall and continues beyond (north of) the Bant for a bit. It is home to the bulk of the routes in Cottonwood Wash, and also to the best rock yet found in the Bluff Sandstone Member. A tour of the wall, with a jaunt up the Bant for good measure, should provide a full day of good climbing.
These routes are shady until about 1pm.

Getting There
From the gate/parking, either:
1. Follow the fence across the usually dry creek-bed and hike along the base of the hill below the wall until beneath your desired climb. Slog up the short, loose hill to the wall.
2. Hike north along the old road into the main canyon for 1/4 to 1/2 mile and cut cross country, through the creek-bed, and up the hill to the wall. Much of the creek-bed along here is densely vegetated, and finding a route through the brush can be tricky.
Either way should get you to the wall in 20-30 minutes.
