The beautiful Italian village Chiavenna is situated on the crossing of the Splügen pass and the Maloja pass. It is the perfect basecamp for climbing in the Bondasca Valley, the Albigna Valley of in Val Masino. Apart from those beautiful alpine valleys a number of bolted areas are nearby.

After climbing cheap pizzas, high quality coffee and fantastic icecream complete your day!

Getting There Suggest change

From Switzerland follow the Maloja or the Splügenpass and you will eventually end up in Chiavenna. From Italy drive to the Lago di Como and continue up the SS36 to Chiavenna.
