Description
Purinton Creek climbing area consists of about 50 routes that can all be seen right off the Glenn Highway. The area has a wide spread of grades form 5.fun to 5.hard. There are also many lines here that use a combo of trad and fixed gear so make sure to check the gear before heading up. Most of the rock here is of good quality yet be careful of loose spots scattered through out the crag. This is still Alaska. On the bright side there not much for organics growing on the walls and the area tends to be on of the driest in the state making Purinton a great place to go when Hatchers and the coast is getting rained on.
