Description

Jewel In The Rough is not exactly a Jewel yet the Rough part of the title may not be that far off. This crag offers half a dozen ok, short routes yet if you've climbed the rest of the highway and are looking for a good view and a few new moves then head on up.

Getting There

Jewele In The Rough is located 4.6 miles past the weight station or at mile marker 110.1. Use the parking lot for Sunshine Ridge and hike up hill till you cross the Turnagain Arm Trail. Take a right and walk .6 miles south till you encounter some car sized boulders and big trees next to the trail. Walk up hill from these trees to the cliff on a faint trail or overgrown bushwhack.
