Description
Beginner's Luck Boulder is a smallish boulder in a grove of aspens. It has at least 3 V0- slab routes, a couple of V0s on aretes or corners, a V1 face route, and a V3 sit start. The problems are not bad, but the boulder could be a little taller, and it may be choked with vegetation.
Getting There
Park in the pullout off CO Highway 133 for the River Boulders and Corkscrew Boulder. Cross the street and go up a path marked with a cairn. About 30' from the road, head in left into the Aspens. The boulder is only about 30' from the trail and is recognizable by the fence post on the north side of the boulder.
