Description
Montreal is the largest city in Quebec, one of the largest in Canada.
Great destination for enjoying tons of festivals (Jazz, Just for Laugh) the Grand Prix and much more!
The closest area of descent size to climb from Montreal is in Rigaud in the Montérégie, 1 hour west of the island off of highway 20 towards Ottawa.
The other area is on Ile-Ste-Helene, accessible by metro or bike.
Apart from that there is a dozen climbing and bouldering gyms on the island.
Resoling:
You can bring your climbing shoes to Allez-Up! where Marc d'Hostie will pick them every tuesday and return them the next week. Great job, call him up if you want anything special (514) 257-7628.
For Hiking / Climbing boots you have Carinthia, He's a La Sportiva Authorized Cobbler.
