Description Suggest change

Most of the boulders in this area are south of CA-120 near the Olmsted Point pullout. In contrast to a lot of the knob-pulling elsewhere in Tuolumne, this area has a lot of great cracks to boulder. Although the Olmsted Point pullout is constantly crowded during the season, it seems rare to run into another party actually bouldering in the canyon. Beautiful place to end the day and enjoy the sunset on Half Dome.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the large, paved pullout at Olmsted Point. Hike west over the small granite rise and then south down slabs. If you see a crack, climb it.
