Description Suggest change

In the beautiful setting of Semuc Champey are lots of limestone boulders and outcroppings, varying from stalagtite riddled "caves" to pocketed and crimpy boulders. All of the rock that I explored was along the main, lower trail, although there is much more around, including some larger walls on the hillsides (although I highly doubt that route setting would be tolerated). Mostly very sharp and either easy or hard. Not worth going to Guatemala for, by any means, but definitely worth packing shoes and a chalk bag for if you plan on being there.

Getting There Suggest change

From Lanquin take a shuttle (a pickup with bars to hold onto in the back) to Semuc Champey. Pay the park entrance fee and go explore the crystal clear pools, limestone boulders, and perhaps jump off the waterfall.
