Description Suggest change

At 100m, High Rock really does live up to it's name. It is the tallest inland limestone outcrop in the UK and host to some impressive and famous routes.

Access Suggest change

The Summer Season access agreement applies to the single pitch sport and trad climbs. The multipitch routes are restricted to winter only.

Getting There

Suggest change
Enter the gorge from Cheddar village and drive just under a mile. There is a large parking area in a bay on the right, just underneath the imposing cliff. Choose whether to park your car here and risk bombardment should you displace any rock or drop any gear, or park on the other side of the road.
