Description Suggest change

The Shooting Gallery, so named for it's proximity to the nearby shooting range, is a south-facing collection of crags only a short distance from the car making this an ideal area if pressed for time. This area has a long history of climbing and very much development due to it's ease of access and high visibility.

Routes here are half-a-rope or less with a good mix or bolted routes, cracks and top-rope problems. Recommended routes here include The Overhang (5.9), Shotgun Wedding (5.10a), Bull's Eye (5.10b), Who's Flue (5.10c), Winchester (5.10d) and Black Powder (5.11a).

Getting There Suggest change

Hike about 0.5 miles from the parking area, passing along the western edge of the shooting range and then continuing north past the junction where the summit trail splits and heads west. The approach takes 15-30 minutes depending upon which portion of the crags you visit.
