Description

This is a secluded area above and behind the Assembly Hall. It contains more moderate routes than other areas, but they tend to be shorter and of lesser quality. They also tend to be very sharp near the top. There is also moss and small bushes on some of the routes, and they can be quite slippery after a good rain or light misting. Beware of the loose rock around the major features like the Elephant Ear and the topout.

Getting There

From the Assembly Hall, continue northeast along the obvious trail, which quickly gets steeper. Once you reach the top of the short slope, you will see two distinct paths. One continues straight and goes around a boulder. This goes to Doucilin. To get to Mysterious Valley, turn left, keeping the walls of Assembly Hall on your left. Do NOT drop down towards the cave and water drainage, or you will have to do a slick boulder move to get back up. You will still have to do a muddy downclimb once you leave the cliff edge. Once you begin the downclimb, you will see some short walls jutting out of the jungle ahead of you.
