Description
The Visayas is one of the three principal geographical divisions of the Philippines, along with Mindanao and Luzon. It consists of several islands, primarily surrounding the Visayan Sea. The major islands of the Visayas are Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, and Samar.
The premiere climbing destination in the Philippines is located in here on the island of Cebu. Right in the middle of the small barangay of Cantabaco, a one hour journey through the jungle and into the islands heart. The streaked limestone cliff stands over the small community. In a nutshell, this crag should be the first destination in the Philippines if you want a sampling of what climbing in the Philippines can offer.
