A spire sticking out in the middle of the forest. Typical awesome Black Hills granite.

Getting There Suggest change

From Custer, SD, drive south on 385 for about 7 1/4 miles and turn east on CR 793. Go north for about 1.75 miles. You will see Beecher Rock sticking up out of the forest on your left.

10 minute hike through National Forest to get to the base.
