Access Issue: National Park Registration Details

You must pre-register before entering Nahanni National Park Reserve to climb in the Cirque of the Unclimbables. When you leave the park, de-registration is also required.

Reservations are required for the Cirque of the Unclimbables and the Vampire Peaks areas. For more information on registration and the required form: parks.canada.ca/pn-np/nt/na…

Description

The South side of this peak is over 2000' high in places and is one of the most beautiful walls in the area. While not as popular as the Lotus Flower Tower this wall is a worthy destination by itself. For better information check out George Bell's online guide to the Cirque of Unclimbables at

Getting There

From Fairy Meadow hike up the left side of the cirque towards Proboscis for about an hour. It is the almost free standing tower on the right, just past Terrace Tower.
