Description Suggest change

The Hot Zone is a very secluded Southwest facing crag with routes that range from 5.11 to 5.13. This is a great area for anyone trying to escape the crowds, and the orientation makes for a nice morning area in the Summer or a good afternoon area in cooler temperatures. Since this area sees less traffic, most of the routes are still cleaning up, giving them a slightly adventurous feel.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up the Middle Fork Trail for about 7 minutes. Just past a large boulder on your right you will see a faint trail heading uphill to the right. Follow this very steep trail for about 5 minutes, to the base of The Hot Zone.
