Getting There
All roads within the area are gravel. You can expect 50 or more miles of gravel to these destinations. The region is bound by the following paved roads: I-25, SH 34, Us 287, SH 487 and US 220. Your destination within the LPR will be either off of the Esterbrook Rd, the Bear gulch Rd, Cottonwood Park Rd or the Fletcher Park Rd #133.
When coming from the east use the El Rancho Rd. exit 94 west of I-25. After 8 miles of straight west Rd #114 driving take a north if you are going to the NE region of LPR. At Jct Cottonwood Park take a right Rd 210 when going to Black Mtn. For Albany Peak, Rainbow Fish Camp Rocks, Laramie Peak east & north go west for another 2 miles where the road makes a sharp left and becomes the Fish Creek Rd. #144.
Otherwise take a left on Fish Creek Rd for a few miles then a right at Jct Fletcher Park Rd over the mtn ridge continuing to Cottonwood Park Jct. If you are going to Laramie Peak southeast take a right.
Otherwise take the left south on Cottonwood Park to Jct Palmer then going right on Palmer to a right at Jct Garrett. From Jct Garrett drive 12 miles to Jct Bear Gulch. If activity in not along Bear Gulch Rd proceed on Bear Gulch Rd to Jct Esterbrook and take a left on Easterbrook Rd.
When coming from the south and using the central and western portion of LPR use the Laramie Exit 73 off I-25 and proceed west on SH 34 to Jct Tunnel Rd. at MM 36. After some 22 miles of driving take a right on Jct Garrett the drive 1.7 miles north to Jct Palmer. Coninue thru on Garrett Rd if you are using the central and west portion of LPR.
Otherwise, if you are coming from the south and using the eastern portion of LPR see from the east.
When coming from the north and not using the eastern potion of LPR then take exit 140 at Douglas and continue south on SH 94 to Esterbrook. From Esterbrook take the Esterbrook rd. west to Jct Bear Gulch and turn left on Bear Gulch to your destination.
If you are coming from the north and using the eastern portion of LPR then proceed as in from the east.
When coming from the west go 3 miles north of Rock River on US 287 and take a right onto the Fetterman/Palmer Rd. If you are going to some where on NW side of LPR along the Esterbrook Rd. then take the Fetterman Rd. north at the Fetterman/palmer Jct. until reaching and turning right onto the Esterbrook Rd.
Otherwise proceed along the Palmer Rd. until Jct Garrett RD. Take the Garrett Rd if your activity is along the Bear Gulch Rd. The Bear Gulch Rd is about 12 mile from here.
Otherwise continue on the Palmer Rd. to Jct Cottonwood Park and take the Cottonwood Park Rd to your destination.

Otherwise continue on the Palmer Rd. to Jct Cottonwood Park and take the Cottonwood Park Rd to your destination.
