Description

Easy access single pitch and multipitch sport climbing on solid limestone, in an alpine setting.

The three areas described here span the Meltchal valley, on the north side, up top, and on the south side.

Getting There

Melchtal is a relatively quiet valley very close to Lucerne, and is accessible by public transport (bus) or car.

Public transportation options: train/bus/cable car for Melchsee-Frutt (Bonistock) or Cheselenflue.
Use 'Stöckalp' as destination in SBB.ch.
