Description
The Morro Peak area contains three different sectors: Morro Slabs, Morro Bluffs, and multi-pitch routes up Morro Peak itself. The area is fairly dry and tends to get a bit of wind.
Getting There
Morro peak is the rounded limestone "hump" on the drive northeast from Jasper to Hinton. Park at the start of the overlander trail right after the first bridge crossing Athabasca river. Morro slabs, are the obvious limestone feature seen jutting out of the river upstream of the bridge.
