Description
Robber's Cave State Park offers tent, RV, and cabin camping. The campgrounds have bathrooms with showers and electricity. There is a lot of top roping available, with many trees to use as anchors. The rock is an incredibly compacted sandstone with big flakes of ironite that makes some awesome lines to follow. No sport climbing, some trad. The rock is good enough for nuts and cams.
Getting There
From Wilburton, OK. go north on Highway 2 for five miles. On the right side of the road, you will find the entrance to the Robber's Cave campground, which is called Park Cabin's road. Turn left here. Then turn right on Robber's Cave Road. Follow this road for three miles to the parking lot. From the parking, follow the trail to the climbing area.
