Description

This is one of the most popular areas at Desplo because of the high concentration of quality routes at all grades. The left side of the wall is characterized by a huge orange wave of pocketed limestone that provides many good 5.12 and 5.13 pitches. The middle of the wall holds several excellent routes in the 5.11 range and the right side has fun and long 5.10's, some of them classic.

While there are some shorter sustained routes at this crag, many of the lines tend to continue well past 25 meters with the harder climbing coming at the top. Take a 70 meter rope if you wish to have complete freedom.

Getting There

From the parking area look up and right to see the obvious orange overhang on the left side of the crag and steep horizontal breaks running across the lower half of the wall.

Find the trail 50 meters up the road. 5 min walk.
