Description
Nolan River is a bouldering area tucked away along the nolan river near Blum Texas. While the guidebook(TX limestone bouldering) has most of the problems fairly stout (hard) there are some easier lines as well with a little bit of exploring of rocks. This area has still a bit of potential and is a safe-access area so far. Just be fairly quiet b/c there are homes above the cliff line. Quality rock, with more than a days worth of good stuff!
Getting There
Highway 67 south to Cleburne. 174 south through Rio Vista. Left on FM 933.
Park on the grass on the west side of Farm Rd 933 (south of the Nolan River). Walk North to cross the bridge over the Nolan River. From the bridge, you should see that the Pilgrim's Pride and Jizzercise boulders are located West of Farm Rd 933 on the northern side of the Nolan River. Head down the cliff line until you reach the river and walk down the shoreline to the boulders.
