Getting There Suggest change

The most popular trailhead is West Rosebud, which is approximately 80 miles SW of Billings. From I-90, take Hwy 78 (Columbus exit 408) SW for approx. 17 miles. Right on Nye Rd. (CR 419) towards Fishtail, for approx. 1 mile. Left on W. Rosebud Rd. for 6.3 miles. Slight left on W. Rosebud Lake Rd (FR 72) for approx 14 miles to trailhead parking lot.
