Description
Also called Zip-A-Dee-Do-Da Buttress. This is located at the base of the southeast face. It offers short sport routes in the 5.8-5.11 range. There are also a couple trad lines.
A recent (2021) rebolting effort on this wall has upgraded all the old rusty hardware to new stainless steel ½ inch bolts and hangers. Most of the routes were put up by Mark Spencer in the 80’s and later by Jerry Anderson. They both approved the rebolting and also the removal of old low anchors at 15m to 20m that were for used for 50m ropes back then. As well as new anchors where required. Now everything goes to higher anchors at 30m or less. Mark Spencer also approved the addition of a few bolts to protect ground/ledge falls and bring his routes more into modern standards for bolting. Volunteers for the work done include Jerry & Sigrid Anderson, Grahm Doe, Que Lopez and Sean Sullivan. A new wave a hard climbers can now throw themselves at these powerful and technical routes without fear of breaking old rusty bolts from falls.
