Description
Tündér Hegy is a mountain in the XII kerület in Budapest. Tündér Szikla is the name of the rock outcropping at the peak. Climbing isn't allowed on the Tündér Szikla itself due to safety and conservation issues.
You can however boulder on the Manóvár boulder and the Tündér Tömb nearby. Climbing on any other area is prohibited. The area is conservation land so please make sure to clean up after yourself and if possible, pick up any trash you see on your way out. Climbing is only allowed between 6AM and 8PM or sunset. You can get water from a pump at the start of the Zugligeti út (right by the 155 bus stop).
The area is pretty secluded so you'll probably end up with the climbing all to yourself. The place is very quiet and there are nice views of the Buda hills. The rock is dolomite and features are mostly small. Lots of crimps.
The Manóvár boulder has six problems listed in Magyarország Sziklamászó Kalauza. They range in difficulty from VII+ up to X- (UIAA grading). The Tündér Tömb also has six problems listed in the guide. Due to the height of this section, I would consider them to be more routes than problems (unfortunately, there are no bolts or protection options). Difficulty ranges from VII+ up to VIII (UIAA grading).

Getting There
Take the 155 bus from Moszkva Tér to the Zugligeti út (final) stop. Start up the Zugligeti út for a short bit and you'll see the Zugligeti Általános Iskola (elementary school) on your left. The Szilassy út forks off to the left - take it and keep walking up hill.
After about 300 meters, you'll get to a really sharp left turn. Look for a trail with green markers leading off into the woods on your right. Check the Manóvár and Tündér Tömb areas for further directions.
