Description
Willow Creek is a nice bouldering area east of Gunnison and just outside Ohio City. Most areas get enough sun to climb when the temperatures dip, but there is also shade for the summer. The rock quality is pretty great by the road, but as you go higher up the hill you encounter more and more choss.
Getting There
From Gunnison: Take US 50 East and take a left at Parlin towards Ohio City. Shortly before you reach Ohio City, there is a gate on the left. Go past this gate (MAKE SURE TO CLOSE IT), the first bit of the dirt road is PRIVATE PROPERTY, then there is a public lands sign. The Roadside Boulder and the Big Roof are obvious.
