Description Suggest change

This area is for the intrepid. This area in northern Colorado has a little known climbing history, sees little traffic, and has no recorded ascents for the most part, though Michael Covington and others were busy long ago. It is adventure climbing for sure with lots of loose rock, long routes, no fixed gear, Colorado mountain weather, lichen, and all other sorts of good stuff. Some people might not like this info going up, but no one will really go climbing here anyway, so who cares? My brief adventures here in the alpine realm are memorable on both rock and snow.

Getting There Suggest change

From North of Steamboat, drive to Slavonia Trailhead, and start looking around. Most rock walls are in the Sawtooth Range and Zirkel Basin. I have single pushed some alpine routes but highly advise a bivy if you are new to the area.
