[Hide Comment] Ok...I am not usually a kill joy but this place...sucks. My girlfriend and I were visiting the Grand Canyon and thought we would climb in this area. The climbs are choss. Loose stuff all over the place along with lots of rock on top of each climb. You will rain down rock on your partner when you top off. Not sure why anyone would want to climb roof right and left. The sport climbs to the right of these look loose and the first bolt is about 15 feet up with sketchy belay for your partner. I am usually up for climbing anything but this place is something to skip. Enjoy the canyon instead. Oh...there is a nice boulder problem at the start of the trail. Otherwise stop and go no further. [Hide Comment] i have climbed here as well. Yeah, there is loose stuff, but if you are careful, you can have a blast here. The climbing is ususual, as you are climbing on limestone that has ocean creature fossils embedded into the rock. Some of the climbing is "sporty" for sport climbing....so lead or top rope or do whatever you feel comfortable with. The climbing is steep, pretty fun, a bit heads up, and the scenery is top shelf. Overall, ....we had a great day of cragging!....but you do have to be careful and savy here. Oct 22, 2015
