Fat Man's Squeeze Bouldering

A small little bouldering area along the blue trail in the Chatfield area with steep roofs, overhangs, and corridors.

As per a major win with help from the RMF, access to the Fat Man Squeeze is OPEN!

Please follow Pathfinders (the owner's) wishes. Please only park on the property.

Only park in Camp Deer Lake: 101 Paper Mill Road, Killingworth, CT

Bouldering only. No use of the routes/rope climbing.

• Pop into the ranger station and let them know where you’re going and to say hello

• Only access it through their Property

• Understand there’s no cell service in the squeeze

• Leave no trace

• No stashing pads

• Out by sundown 

• No night climbing

Walking from Ranger Station:

Follow road until you reach the trail heads (multiple trail heads with many colors)

    •    Take yellow trail

    •    Turn right onto blue and yellow

    •    Take right onto blue
