Description
Although geologically part of the Alaska Range, the Delta Range is considered to be that subset of the Alaska Range which is East of the Delta River. The terrain the the Delta Range is generally lower altitude than the more westerly regions of the Alaska Range. Nonetheless, many challenging climbs at all grades exist in this area. The Delta Range receives far less tourism than the Denali region of the Alaska Range.
