Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.
Description
This area covers the steep canyon north of The Beach which eventually levels out and then starts heading back downhill towards the rim.
Getting There
Approach past the far end of The Beach, make a left and head uphill. Approach time is 25-35 minutes.
