From the Archangel road continue on the trail towards Reed Lakes. Once you hit the old abandoned shack take the next trail left that goes up the steep grassy hill. You'll follow a small dirt trail through the valley to the pass. You may lose it but stay low and go straight for the pass. Approx. 5 miles.
Once at the pass, you'll see the Nunatak and the Because It's There Wall. For rock routes in the area, see Glacier Creek Drainage and Snowbird Glacier.
Two large moulins exist on the Snowbird Glacier that would present fun ice climbs. Uncertain if anyone has made the effort to schlep all the gear to have a go at either.
