Description
One of the most consistently steep bouldering areas in Canada. Large house size boulders with scoops, pockets, edges, and pinches. You won't find as many slopers or slabs as compared to the other areas... the climbing is steep and burly.
The two main areas, The Happies (AKA The Shipwreck Boulders)and Hotel Boulders (AKA the Cave Boulders) will soon be connected by a trail. There are boulders scattered throughout the forest between these areas. Around a 10 min. hike will separate both areas.
Because of the size and steepness of the boulders, you will find some garbage from past squatters. A clean-up is in effect.

Getting There
Take HWY 1 east to exit 168. Turn right onto Flood Hope Road. You can make a right onto Owl Road and park in the open field across from the building with the red roof. You will find a gravel road to the left of the motel that will lead to the Rambo area and the Cave Boulders. The first boulder you will see on your left is the steep Russian Roullette Boulder. The boulders on the right side of the road next to the motel are off limits.
If you continue driving past Owl Road along Flood Hope Road for another 200m, you will see a road that leads into the forest. There is a cement barrier here to prevent dumpers from entering. Park across the road from this. Follow the road into the forest until you reach a garbage pile on your right. A trail on your left will lead up into The Shipwreck Boulders.
