[Hide Comment] This area is still sorely lacking photos. Many new routes have gone up and not a single photo. Makes it hard to have any clue where this stuff is.

[Hide Comment] Actually my camera is on the fritz right now. I do apologize for the lack of photos, I am trying to get everything in its place. Plus waiting for a little warmer weather. My last camera fell victim to the icy cold depths of the Chippewa river. The problems vary from very short probably 10 ft up to probably 30 ft a lot of good holds they do vary quite a bit from incuts to crimps, slopers, etc... Anytime anyone would like me to show them around send me a message.

[Hide Comment] yeah there are a few places, jim falls not so much. There is a place in eau claire at mt. simon park called the top of the world that has an anchor. There are a lot of bluffs around eau claire not for climbing but alot of possibilities for rappeling.

[Hide Comment] Cleaned a new problem near the damn yesterday. It's a sheer arete and a bit of a high ball about 20ft. A few UWEC friends and I use to talk about cleaning this thing a couple years back. I finally got bored enough to go back and do it. The moves are all there. Committing high crux with a shit landing, not to mention the rotting sturgeon carcass at the landing. Probably, the most aesthetic problem here. may need to clear out some of the thorn bushes at the landing. 3 pads and spotters ideal. Just walk past the damn boudlders in the picture, it's right around the corner on the river.

[Hide Comment] I dont have picture of the area but I could get some online. I am going to be moving back into the area from texas in two weeks. I am looking forward to visiting this and climbing there. I am hoping to do some ice climbing as well. I can give you directions or tips on how to get to some of the places. I used to fish down there all the time. I just never knew anything about rock climbing till I moved down here. I am really excited to check that area out as well as big falls.

[Hide Comment] The MP Jim falls page is going to be revamped pretty soon. If anyone has any info regarding history, problem names and grades. It would be a huge help.

[Hide Comment] Any new information for would be greatly appreciated on this are. It's close and has some decent problems but there is a lot of empty descriptions and poor ones as well.

[Hide Comment] Sorry everyone, I dropped the ball with the Jim falls page. I am in the process of making a mini guide for the area. I just need a few people to help out with it. Most of the problems have been climbed. There are a few areas that still have potential. They just need a lot of work. Cleaning, etc...
