Description
This area covers boulders along the southern side of the Volcano Formation and near the landmark Volcano Boulder.
Getting There
Drive 4.2 down the Geology Tour Road and park at a wide spot on either side of road near marker #6. Cross the road and head east along the south side of the huge rubble pile following a faint trail. Some of the problems are encountered close to the road and others further to the east - look for the landmark Volcano Boulder midway up the rubble pile.
