Access Issue: Warning! Stainless steel bolts are suspect near the coast!
Details
You can read about the warning here. There is extensive rebolting being done by the Thaitanium Project, which has already rebolted the vast majority of popular routes in the main areas. Be informed!
Description
Koh Laoliang is an amazing private island in Trang Province, south of Krabi Province. One island, one resort with about 60 pitches of classic Thailand climbing. There is also an amazing bouldering cave and endless DWS!
This place is as secluded as it gets. A great alternative to the crowds of Tonsai and Railay during Madness Season (Dec-March). The climbing is literally a one minute walk from the resort.
The island is full of afternoon climbing as the rock faces east. Many climbers end up spending more time snorkeling, kayaking and simply relaxing as this is a true island paradise experience.

Where To Stay
Since there is only one place to stay on the island, you must book with them in advance. Apparently booking is no longer possible in Tonsai since they have lost communication, and other channels may or may not be successful. Best advice is to book on Trip Advisor
