Description
A great bouldering area that's close by if your staying in Camp Curry that doesn't get much attention but still has some great problems. The main area is farther west of most of the tent cabins but there is
a nice boulder by cabin #321 with two problems that deserve some attention.
Getting There
Walk west from the main concentration of tent cabins, cross a ditch and the boulders lie near a power cord. The other boulder is right next to cabin #321.

A big rockfall in 2008 destroyed many of the Curry Village structures, and many others were taken down in a subsequent safety assessment. Most of the "wood cabins" referenced are gone, but a little wooden "76" sign is posted on a pile of rocks presumably where wood cabin 76 used to stand.
There are also many more boulders (and problems) in the area that the guidebook calls Curry Village Central! If you park near the gear store and walk around the left side of the building, you'll be in this area. Maybe there's a newer guidebook that describes them? Lots of chalked, fun boulders to play around on! The first problems listed in the supertopo guide (Root Canal, Angler) are a five or ten minute walk east on the path behind the gear shop building.
Since the buildings are gone, if you're looking for the Circuit Breaker, stay left at the trail junctions (as you're working your way east). When you cross a ditch over an unexpected, small, stone bridge, take the climber trail that heads off to the left (uphill) immediately afterward. Sep 23, 2015
