Gem Stone Area

Colorado > Independence Pass > Upper Boulderfield Area

Description

This is just right of the Turkey Rock area, and above the Upper Pitbull area.

Getting There

Use the same trail as Turkey Rock. When you first get to the top of Upper Pitbull, look for a couple of small cairns uphill on the right.  Hike uphill for about 5 minutes through small talus to the base of the wall.
