Description
The bolts here are in VERY questionable condition. Most local climbers will not climb here for safety concerns. It is recommended to use this area for top-rope only at this time and please back up any bolted anchor with sufficient trad gear. The rock is quite soft, so please be sure to use bomber slings or larger gear. Due to the soft rock, trad climbing in general is not recommended for both your own safety and for maintaining the rock.
This area is popular for commercial diving groups as they show everyone the local attraction "The Okinawan Blue Cave". As such, when you are climbing here you are in full sight of all the diving groups and boats. This is a huge part of the local economy so any hindrance to them could cause significant access issues for climbing. Please be respectful.
Local authorities have a bit of a "grey" standard on their view of climbing here. As of 2021, they have stated that they do not want any bolting or rebolting to occur here, but they "will not tell us to stop climbing". In other words, this crag has been left to top-rope only until further notice.
