Description Suggest change

This is the east pillar of the twin pillars of Hope and Despair. The East face is about 40' high and features two very nice, pumpy 5.10's: Rise and Devour and Dismembered. The south-facing arete starts on lower ground, allowing for the lengthier Brewser (5.9). There are a couple more climbs on the west face, in the corridor between the pillars. The rock is solid with a good bite for the shoes on account of the coarse grain.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach as for the Cemetery/Pillar of Despair. The Pillar of Hope lies directly to the east of the Pillar of Pain, and southwest of the Gate Keeper.
