Description
This is a nice area with mostly sport climbing, right down near the river. Access is via a 15-20 minute walk down a gully, then a bit of rock hopping along the river bank upstream from the gully.
Faces due south, so you will get lots of sun.
There are about a dozen routes here, ranging from 5.7 to 5.12.
Getting There
From the bridge, drive 1.3 miles to an obvious dirt road dropping off to the south. This is at a distinct 90 degree turn where the road heads North away from the river (if headed from the bridge). The side road ends quickly and there is an obvious parking area a hundred feet in or so.
Follow the track / faint trail downhill and when you approach the top of the cliffs angle left (downriver / east) down a faint trail into a gully. It's very easy scrambling down to river level and it puts you out on the downstream end of the wall. There are some dense river bed bushes for about 20 feet but just stay up along the wall itself and its easily passable.
There is a nice hangout at the base of the wall with lots of flat room.
Total approach is less than 10 mins
