Description
This remote peak lays on the northern end of the Inyo Mountains and is east of mammoth. It is really the Highest Peak in Nevada but sits right on the border of california. The Mountain itself is really nothing more then a rock pile but the view of the sierras from the summit pays for it.
Getting There
take high way 6 north out of bishop to the town of Benton(last pit stop).keep going past town and into Nevada. not far after crossing the state line you will come to an old brothel on the left (look for the water tank) turn right on the dirt road and follow it as far as you dare. I made it all the way to the top but the last mile or so gets steep and narrow.
