Description
Fun newly developed wall, with climbs that require some trad gear. A short wall on the left with nice grassy flat area, then a taller wall on the right.
Getting There
From the huge flat boulder past the Cattle Pocket (next to the 5.13? steep slab), hike up the short road to the west. Scramble up about 100 yds past a bit of 3rd/4th class (half way to the obvious, clean Dinosaur Cracks), then right into a small valley. The left side routes are here, the right side routes are past a huge boulder that you tunnel under.
[Hide Photo] Hang a right here off of the approach route to Dinosaur Cracks to ge to Zoo Wall. Takes about 5 minutes from the car this way. This is just after the first tunnelly area you have to duck through on…
[Hide Photo] Aim for the X for the beginning of the scramble. Follow the dirt up, then once you hit a flat-ish part of dirt heading right, follow that to the Zoo Wall.

[Hide Comment] It's worth the approach. Easier/faster to get to than the Dinosaur Cracks and much better routes. Approach beta: 1) Don't cross the gully, stay left, aim for the X to start the scramble: mountainproject.com/photo/1… 2) When you hit a flat part where you can head right, head right. You should be able to see the wall: mountainproject.com/photo/1…Apr 20, 2024
[Hide Comment] First approach beta picture is good second is way high, you can cut over to Zoo Wall much lower. Just after the first little tunnelly area you have to duck under on the approach towards Dinosaur Cracks hang a right on a trail through the bushes and then over some boulders straight to the Zoo Wall. I’ll add a photo. Approach takes about 5 minutes from the car this way.
